The villa

Fare One ‘the house of sand’ is a villa built in the 1950s on the edge of the lagoon in almost 1300 m2 of tropical garden. Ideally located to the south-west of the motu, with a unique panorama, it enjoys natural protection and magnificent light throughout the day until sunset, when it faces the horizon.

With its open-plan living space overlooking the lagoon and the wild, unspoilt surrounding nature, Fare One is a comfortable holiday villa that reflects the very essence of Polynesian living, where it is as enjoyable to live outdoors as it is indoors.

The villa comfortably sleeps up to 6 people.

Leisure facilities

Activities

There are plenty of activities on offer. The lagoon around the motu is a veritable giant aquarium, with shallow waters and a temperature of 25° all year round. It's the ideal place for safe snorkelling and discovering the wonders it harbours: coral and multi-coloured fish, turtles, rays and other harmless sharks. Catering

Please note that there are no shops accessible on the motu, so we advise you to plan all your supplies before you arrive. There are plenty of shops in the village opposite the motu.

Access for travellers

For your shopping and errands on the main island, our boat is available free of charge once a day from 7.30am to 5.30pm. Sandra and Romain are on hand to answer your questions and make your stay as pleasant as possible. We will send you all the information you need before you arrive.

Other comments

On a motu, as in any unspoilt environment, resources are limited, precious and nature fragile. Fare One Island is an autonomous and eco-responsible villa in terms of energy: we produce our own electricity and collect rainwater. We therefore ask you to avoid any unnecessary waste of these precious resources. We thank you in advance for your understanding and wish you an unforgettable stay on the motu.
